I want to be reviewing Fics for a while... So without anymore babble; Here are the fic!reviews....

"Break at the Bend" A Lucius and Narcissa Fanfic

"Break at the Bend" is a fanfic I took on a whim to read and enjoyed it a great deal. I had to share! It's a story dealing with the daily lives of both Lucius and Narcissa and differnt they feel about each other.

To be honest before reading this fic, I thought like how most of LxN fics are there was going to be abuse and large amounts of angst and maybe that hint of bizarre sex that Lucius and Narcissa are offen written about. ^^;; But it wasn't like that at all! It was infact, well written, tasteful and re-readable.

It was she. Stumbling in, wheeling back and forth on unsteady feet, tripping over a little wrinkle in the carpet runner - the perfect picture of awkward drunkenness.

The fic starts off as Narcissa drunk and arriving home. Oh differnt is THAT? And it's believeable; she drinks at social parties and the irony of it; is that Lucius doesn't give a damn. A few paragraphs later the writers fills us in on Lucius feelings toward their relationship and how lacking it was well, alot of things

Lucius recoiled sharply as if a venomous snake had bitten him. "What is wrong with you woman-!" he started. Narcissa had her arm around him and smiled happily.

Lucius and Narciss kiss, their first time in 15 years and Lucius is shocked and slaps his wife across the face. Bitch slapping his wife gets Draco involved. But he doesn't do much. The days spent for Lucius is being as far away from his son as possible since their relationship is akward and Narcissa is constantly out. Getting drunk, or shopping.

Yet what did she do? Did she have friends? Elitist companions? Drinking buddies? He didn’t know, and this bothered him greatly, not knowing what he wife did.

One of the greater parts of the story, Lucius not knowning what his wife does when she goes out. Their rooming arrangement is discussed, they sleep in seperate rooms and he discovers she collects dolls and he notices this one doll that looks like her.

She arrives home and this is one of the painful aching parts in the story; Lucius in a rare weak moment, insecure and almost *fearful* of his wife's reaction.

He was going about this wrong, wasn’t he? Yes, he was. Look at her, with her guard up again! And he only wanted to figure her out! To know who she was, to know if they could possible love each other.... Lucius, you imbecile, why can’t you get anything right!

Then Draco gets involved, acting far to young that I thought he would, but still strong. He challanges his Dad and tells him to never hit his Mother again. And I was dissapointed; I mean I thought he would do much more to his Father, whom he saw stuck his Mother.

"I’ll kill you."

The I'll kill you theart. I wasn't expecting that. This fic just gets better and better, yo. Anyway, to cut this short, this fic was differnt, seeing Lucius as an insecure and confused husband and parent. I recommend this fic a great deal and you all should read it.

Damn, I was to nice. Iam going to get some terrible Malfoy fic and rip it up!
